This year the Indy Crusaders will be hosting tryouts for upcoming 8U, 10U, and 12U players. For details on age rules, please check our page for rules here. Below are details regarding the upcoming tryouts.
10U – *NEW TIME AND LOCATION*
Location: Roundtripper Sports Academy – Indoor Field
16708 Southpark Dr, Westfield, IN 46074
Date & Time: July 8th, 2-4pm EST
8U, 10U, and 12U
Location: Roundtripper Sports Academy – Outdoor Field
16708 Southpark Dr, Westfield, IN 46074
Date & Time: July 22nd, 3-5pm EST
Players are able to pre-register here or may register at the beginning of the tryout session.
Please have your player bring:
– hat
– glove
– helmet
– bat
– catchers gear (we will have sets of gear available should they want to try and don’t have any)
We would prefer they wear baseball pants/cleats, but it is not mandatory.
Each player will be scored on:
– infield grounders/throw to first, outfield pop ups/throw to cut off
– baserunning (home to first, home to third)
– hitting for form and contact
– pitching (10U and 12U only) for mechanics, ball speed, and accuracy
